Award winning Black Deer Festival has grown year on year as one of the UK’s best independent festivals focusing on country music.
The growth of the festival required Black Deer to keep growing the bars and introduce new ideas to keep up with the demand. Black Deer had a number of creative goals they wanted to hit, we supported their aspirations and evolved the offering by managing all bar operations for the festival from building the bars, providing assets, stock and staff. In total Peppermint operated 11 bars that were a mix between main bars, camping, E Bars and small mobile asset bars, all of which had a tailored range based on placement and location of the bar. Peppermint supplied and managed all (250+) payment devices for bars, food, ticketing and merch.
Peppermint committed to introducing self service drinks technology in 2023 and to be the first operator to provide self-service drinks options for customers at a festival. At Black Deer we successfully implemented this and delivered a truly unique experience, the feedback included a fast, no fuss service and quality product for festival goers.
