Warehouse Technical Operative - Wellsbourne

Job Overview:

The purpose of the warehouse tech operative is to manage and maintain all tech equipment at the warehouse in line with the tech procedures. The role is based in the warehouse but involves liaising with the tech and operations department to ensure smooth delivery of tech projects.

Core Accountabilities:

-Manage and optimise warehouse processes to meet operational goals.

-Carry out routine cleaning and maintenance of all equipment.

-Ensure accurate inventory management through regular audits, cycle counts and asset tracking.

-Ensures accurate documentation and records of incoming and outgoing deliveries.

-Accurately pick equipment and pack orders neatly and securely for shipment.

-Receive all deliveries, including client returns

-Logistical planning with Operations Manager for any hire jobs

-Performs data entry to document inbound and outbound packages.

-Executes incoming/outgoing deliveries as instructed by management, e.g. purchase order [PO] receiving.

-Collaborate with other departments to streamline logistics and improve overall efficiency.

-Utilise our system to track and manage stock.

-Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to stock.

-Onboard and asset label new inventory items.

-Reporting and logging of repairs/damages – attributing to events where needed

-Regular damage and asset reports to Technical and Warehouse managers

-Till programming

-MDM controller

Business Specific Requirements

Operating Environment & Context:

The business is very seasonal. Summer months are incredibly busy, with the busiest periods between May to September, and the month December. Many event sites are outdoor events and festivals on weekends. Some weekend and longer days may be required to fulfil orders.

Travel and other requirements:

Travel could be required to and from events during the summer months. It could be expected that you will events, and travel from one event to the next on multiple weekends. Overnight stays/weekend work could be required. Overtime is paid.
