HYBRID OFFICE/REMOTE – 3 DAYS MINIMUM LONDON OFFICE, KENNINGTON
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 + Bonus + Overtime

OVERVIEW OF ROLE
The purpose of this role is to manage the sales side of the business, supporting the Commercial Director and founders to drive sales growth through new business development.
The role will include management of the sales team, pipeline, leading on tender and bids and submissions in a timely manor. You will lead the sales team, prioritising opportunities and managing workloads to achieve the company’s goals.
Yourself and the team will pro actively seek new business opportunities both in the greenfield/events and venues sector. Account Management support to the Project Managers will be provided by your team on an ongoing basis.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Team Management:
-Lead and manage the team ensuring clear performance objectives are set and regularly monitored via KPI’s and Sales targets
-Developing and measuring sales plans and targets in partnership with the team
-Mentor, coach and develop the team to ensure they have the necessary support to perform their role
-Scheduling, prioritising and delegating work flow
-Facilitating meetings & following up actions
PIPELINE MANAGEMENT & SALES PROCESS
-Leading the sales process from start finish
-Development of all outbound sales collateral (with professional support where required)
-Leadership of entire pitch/bid process according to deadlines
-Assessing and managing commercial risk
-Creating commercial deals
-Negotiation with clients & prospects
-Presenting regular sales & pipeline reports for the Directors & Finance Director
-Generating leads
-Supporting and driving forward new business development strategies
-Adhoc tasks and projects as required.
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
-Supporting the Project Managers with account management support including contracting, deal re-negotiation, pre and post event planning meetings and other account management tasks
-Managing client relationships
-Develop and monitor budgets by event/venue
-Ensuring contracts are accurate, complete & signed
-Pro-active drive to improve overall margin. Ensuring minimum event margins are achieved at each event working alongside the Finance Business Partners.
-Coach team on best practice for managing client and contract issues
-Oversee efficient handover with the Project Management teams

QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred:
-Degree level in relevant qualification to role
