Lead Bar Manager- o2 arena

 

The award winning o2 Arena in London is one of the largest arenas in Europe with a seating capacity of almost 20,000 people.

 

It is also one of the busiest arenas in the world providing concerts and events from some of the most well known names in the entertainment industry.

 

Peppermint operates 2 bars on the floor of the arena, serving up to 6,000 people a night.

 

With over 50 concerts confirmed for 2024, we are looking for a Lead Bar Manager to look after the bar operations on site. This person should have proven managerial experience, be passionate about delivering stellar customer service and be confident in streamlining procedures all whilst optimising profitability.

Main Responsibilities include

-Responsible for leading the shift and overseeing both floor bars
-​Completing staff timesheets (Peppermint and agency)– ​Opening and closing stock counts (bars, stock room, cellars, dispo etc)– ​Collecting, completing and submitting all paperwork to Levy office.– ​Conducting staff and manager briefings- up to 40 people-Main point of contact for onsite clients (Levy and Constellation)-Observing and minimising queue times– ​Completing all relevant reports in a timely manner-Counting stock deliveries and keeping an eye on inventory levels
-Delegating roles and duties to benefit service
-Promoting a positive workplace culture
-Elevating customer satisfaction whilst surpassing revenue goals
-Adhering to health and safety guidelines
Skills Required
-Minimum 3 years experience in hospitality (bar, festival, venue)
-Proven managerial experience in a similar role
-Personal license holder
-Experience and knowledge of volume based service
-Cellar/stock management experience
-Ability to work under pressure
-Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Daily rate of £200 (plus holiday pay)
