Event Runner- Summer Festivals 2024

Job Overview:

Embrace the thrill of the festival scene by becoming an integral part of our onsite operations team as a Festival Event Runner. This dynamic role involves providing essential event support and handling various ad hoc tasks, each unique to the event and the department you support or report to.

If you embody great physical stamina, impeccable time management, and a ‘can-do attitude’ even under pressure, you’re exactly who we’re looking for. While the hours are flexible, be prepared for the occasional demand – our events don’t sleep, and each day brings new challenges.

Main Responsibilities:

-Ensure bars are well-equipped and provide top-ups as needed.

-Support quick fixes on the bars, including tills.

-Collect and distribute paperwork and keys when necessary.

-Assist bar managers with end-of-night close-down, including stock counting.

-Distribute and set up menus.

-Move and deliver stock as required.

-Provide general event support and handle ad hoc tasks.

-Oversee deliveries and assist with loading/unloading of trucks.

Essential Knowledge/Experience/Skills:

-Flexible and adaptable approach to work.

-Robust physical stamina to meet the demands of the role.

-Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and follow instructions.

-Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong command of the English language.

-Polite, helpful, and friendly demeanor.

-Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.

Operating Environment & Context:

Our business operates seasonally, with the summer months experiencing peak activity between June and September. As many events are outdoor festivals, camping onsite is an option. Please note, you’ll need to bring your own tent and camping supplies.
