Job Overview:
Elevate the festival experience as our Festival Cocktail Bar Manager, leading a dynamic team of cocktail bartenders and ensuring the seamless operation of our cocktail bars. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to curate a top-tier beverage service, contribute to a vibrant festival atmosphere, and oversee all aspects of our festival bars.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a team of festival cocktail bartenders, providing guidance, training, and motivation to deliver exceptional service.
• Oversee all aspects of the festival cocktail bars, from setup to breakdown, ensuring efficient and organized operations during the event.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders as needed, and implementing systems to prevent waste and maximize profitability.
• Provide in depth training and support throughout on drink specs, including tasting notes and how each individual cocktail should be built and presented.
• Ensure the consistent quality of beverages and service, conducting regular tastings and providing constructive feedback to maintain high standards.
• Foster a positive and engaging environment for festival-goers, addressing any concerns promptly and ensuring an overall enjoyable experience at the cocktail bars.
• Uphold all relevant health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service, and oversee staff training on compliance matters.

Qualifications:

• -Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, with a focus on festival or large-scale event management.
• -Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail trends, and festival bar operations.
• -Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• -Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced, festival environment.
• -Personal Licence Holder

This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, standing for extended periods, and accommodating irregular schedules based on festival timings.

Operating Enviroment & Context:

The business is seasonal. Summer months are incredibly busy – busiest periods between June and September. Many event sites are outdoor events and festivals and camping onsite is available, please note, for camping shows, you will need to provide your own tent and camping supplies.
